Sascha Kraus is Professor of Business Administration at the University of Siegen and Distinguished Visiting Professor of Entrepreneurship and Digital Transformation at the University of Johannesburg.
He completed his doctorate at the University of Klagenfurt, earned a PhD in Industrial Engineering & Management from Helsinki University of Technology and completed his habilitation at Lappeenranta University of Technology. His professorial appointments have included Utrecht, Liechtenstein, Paris, Durham and Bolzano. He has also held visiting professorships in Copenhagen, St Gallen and Hasselt and served as an EECPCL Participating Professor at Harvard University.
Research
His research examines strategic and entrepreneurial decisions, innovation processes and the development of Family Business. His work has appeared in journals including Academy of Management Perspectives, Entrepreneurship Theory & Practice, Global Strategy Journal, Journal of Product Innovation Management, Journal of World Business, Leadership Quarterly und Long Range Planning.
