Sascha Kraus forscht zu Strategie, Entrepreneurship, Innovation und Familienunternehmen. Seit 2025 leitet er den Lehrstuhl FBEO an der Universität Siegen.

Sascha Kraus ist Universitätsprofessor für Betriebswirtschaftslehre an der Universität Siegen und Distinguished Visiting Professor für Entrepreneurship und Digitale Transformation an der University of Johannesburg.

Er promovierte an der Universität Klagenfurt, erwarb einen Ph.D. in Industrial Engineering & Management an der Technischen Universität Helsinki und habilitierte sich an der Technischen Universität Lappeenranta. Professuren führten ihn unter anderem nach Utrecht, Liechtenstein, Paris, Durham und Bozen. Hinzu kamen Gastprofessuren in Kopenhagen, St. Gallen und Hasselt sowie eine Tätigkeit als EECPCL-Participating Professor an der Harvard University.

Forschung

Seine Arbeiten untersuchen strategische und unternehmerische Entscheidungen, Innovationsprozesse und die Entwicklung von Familienunternehmen. Er veröffentlicht unter anderem in Academy of Management Perspectives, Entrepreneurship Theory & Practice, Global Strategy Journal, Journal of Product Innovation Management, Journal of World Business, Leadership Quarterly und Long Range Planning.
